📖 Session 10: Leadership & Calling

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” – 1 Peter 4:10

🧱 The Big Idea

Leadership in God’s Kingdom is rooted in servanthood. Every believer is called, gifted, and empowered to lead in some capacity — not by title, but by influence, humility, and purpose. Your calling isn’t limited to church roles; it touches every part of life.

🌱 Discovering Your Calling

Calling begins with relationship — knowing God and being known by Him. It grows through obedience, spiritual gifts, and godly desire. Leadership is not self-appointed; it’s God-initiated and community-affirmed.

Scriptures to Reflect On:

• Ephesians 2:10 – “Created... to do good works, which God prepared in advance...”
• Romans 12:6-8 – “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us...”
• 1 Peter 5:2-3 – “Be shepherds of God’s flock... not lording it over, but being examples...”

👣 Leading Like Jesus

Jesus modeled leadership through serving. True leaders wash feet, lift burdens, and release others. In God's economy, leadership is downward mobility — the more influence you have, the more you give away.

📌 Marks of Godly Leaders

• Integrity: They live what they teach.
• Empowerment: They raise others up.
• Vision: They see and speak God’s direction.
• Compassion: They lead with grace and truth.

• What gifts or passions have You placed in me?
• Am I stewarding my influence with humility and love?
• Who can I encourage or raise up as a leader?

Father, thank You for calling me into Your purpose. Help me lead like Jesus — with humility, courage, and love. Teach me to use what You’ve given me to build up others. Show me how to walk out my calling daily. In Jesus’ name, amen.
